been using spotify and apple music and honestly the ui on spotify is better, as of this morning my apple itunes music decided not to work (just updated 24 hours ago). and to be honest its the fact that it works every single time. so simple so clean so functional.

This app does everything I needed it to, which is to allow me to maximize my screen space by being able to mimize Spotify and control it from a quick access drop down from my menu bar. I was shocked when I found out that Spotify doesn’t offer a mini-player like iTunes. However, Amplify came to the rescue and all for the price of FREE! You can’t be that! I’ve been using it for only 1 day, but it’s already changed my life. When multi-tasking with several windows and programs, screen realestate is precious. Thank you Amplify!

One of the few that don’t require a premium account. Please create the option in preferences/settings for starting at login. Only other feature I’d add is a plus sign to add the song to saved music/library and specify which playlist to add to. Other than that, it’s as described and great. Thanks for making it!!!

im having a problem with accessing the app. I’m clicking on it but it isn’t opening.

This is such a convienant app. It makes listening to spotify so much easier, and was exactly what i was looking for!

When you click the icon on the top, the player is blank; but, you still get a notification when the song changes. Doesn’t look like it works for latest El Capitan...

I love this little app, but how do I login to my Spotify account?? :’(

This app is very useful when you don’t want interrubt what your doing, you can just click on it at the top, and do what you need to do. Also, when it changes the song, you get a notification. Great app.

The only thing Ezra knows better than collecting rare Pepes is programming and let me tell you, this app is worth more than even the rarest of Pepes. I can’t reccomend this app enough. Also, the album used in the screenshots is probably the greatest album of the 21st century and likely also the 22nd century.

Thanks for making a free app that does exactly what I needed! I think the user who couldn’t open the app may not have spotify downloaded/running. Give it a try :)

Thanks for making this app free!!! Brings so many desired features to spotify; making it infinitely more convenient to use. One feature I’d like to request: add to my songs button in the top menu, with a keyboard shortcut to accompany it. That would make this app perfect for me!

This app/widget is even better than what i was looking for! But… Where is the Menu bar icon in the resources folder under packaged contents??? I’d like to personalize/change the menu bar icon. Please include this in an update!

I wanted a simple way to be notified of track changes and be able to see it at a glance via my menu bar. This does exactly that and nothing more. I do second another reviewer’s request to change the menu bar icon. I wish it were round like the rest of the menu bar icons I have. It looks out of place being an octagon.

Please distinguish buttons in dark mode - right now as I see them they’re black on a dark background, regardless of my wallpaper, they’re nearly impossible to see.

Does this work on El Capitan? For me, it does not. I am new to the app and downloaded but it will not run. I click the application icon and nothing. No error.
